Let's take a look at the morning's biggest stories.
Douglas Luiz has reclaimed his place at Juventus. After a difficult spell, the Brazilian has shown clear signs of a revival, backed up by goals and assists. According to Tuttomercatoweb , the midfielder has reiterated his desire to continue his time with the Bianconeri.
His performances are improving again, but a contract extension is not currently a priority. There are reportedly no ongoing talks between the parties over a new deal, with Douglas Luiz already under contract at Juventus until June 30, 2029.
Bruno Fernandes' future at Manchester United is once again uncertain. The Portuguese midfielder is reportedly at loggerheads with the club and could consider leaving as early as January. According to Calciomercato.com , Milan are monitoring the situation closely, waiting to see whether an opportunity for a deal might arise.
Amorim is reportedly the main driving force behind the potential move, as he knows Bruno Fernandes well and would welcome a reunion at Milan. However, there are no concrete negotiations at present, not least because his net salary of around €10.2 million represents a major obstacle. Much will depend on how the relationship between the player and United develops.
Marcus Thuram is becoming increasingly important to Chivu's Inter. The Frenchman is proving decisive even without Lautaro, as he showed against Fiorentina by scoring the equaliser in the 91st minute and playing a part in the move that led to the penalty sealing a 2-1 win.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport , initial talks over an extension have already begun with sporting director Baccin. Thuram is under contract at Inter until 2028, but the club and president Marotta want to reach an agreement to keep him at Inter.
De Laurentiis is stepping up work on Napoli's new stadium project. According to Il Mattino , the president will meet the Aponte family in Geneva today to establish whether MSC would be willing to become a partner in building the stadium in San Giovanni a Teduccio, on the site of the former Q8 refinery.
The project, designed by architect Zavanella's Gau Arena studio, includes around 70,000 seats and 130 skyboxes. De Laurentiis has reportedly already identified 25 hectares of remediated land worth around €20 million, but city council approval will also be needed for road access, transport links and redevelopment of the area. Awarding the naming rights to MSC is also among the options being considered.
Roma are looking to the future and have set their sights on Gabriel Zarrella, Stuttgart's centre-back born in 2008. According to Tuttomercatoweb , sporting director D'Amico is closely monitoring the youngster, who stands 190 centimetres tall and has already impressed for the German club's Under-19 side, including in the Youth League.
Zarrella, whose father is Italian and mother is Brazilian, has a contract that expires in June, with an option for a further season. Roma want to get ahead of their European rivals, while the Italian Football Federation is also making moves: the player holds three nationalities, and the federation hopes to persuade him to choose Italy.
Fiorentina are looking for a centre-back in January and are once again considering former player Daniele Ghilardi. The defender, born in 2003, is struggling for playing time at Roma after slipping down Gasperini's pecking order and could leave the capital in search of more regular football.
According to information gathered by Calciomercato.it , Paratici is a particular admirer of the centre-back and would be ready to make an initial approach as early as the winter transfer window. However, Milan, Juventus and other clubs are also reportedly interested in the player, who is valued at around €15 million.
