After a sensational 2026 campaign with the Indiana Fever , former Hawkeye point guard Caitlin Clark has been named to the All-WNBA First Team alongside backcourt teammate Kelsey Mitchell. It marks the first time in Fever franchise history where two teammates have been selected to the First Team in the same year.
This past season, Clark averaged 22.3 points per game (third-highest average in the league) and 8.3 assists per game (the second-most in the league), becoming the only player in league history to finish in the top three in both points and assists. Additionally, Clark set a new league record with 41.2 points created per game.
With 891 points and 333 assists, Clark surpassed her own record as the only player to reach 700-plus points and 300-plus assists, and did so for the second season. She also became the only player in league history to record an 800-plus points, 300-plus assists season.
Clark's five 30-plus point and 10-plus assist games this season are more than every other player in WNBA history combined. Clark also became the first player in league history to record 40-plus points and 10-plus assists in a single game.
Their selection marks the second time each has been named to the All-WNBA First Team, with Clark doing so in 2024 and Mitchell in 2025. In the Indiana Fever's 27 seasons, only Clark, Mitchell, and Tamika Catchings (seven times) have earned All-WNBA First Team honors.
