Inter Milan sent top executives to observe Tuesday's Champions League showdown between Atalanta and Bayern Munich at the Gewiss Stadium.
According to Sport Mediaset , Dario Baccin and Piero Ausilio were in Bergamo to take a closer look at three La Dea stars.
It was a disappointing night for Raffaele Palladino's side, as the Bavarians strolled to a landslide 6-1 victory in the first leg of their last-16 tie.
Despite conceding six times, Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi reportedly remains a potential target for the Nerazzurri.
Indeed, the Italian star has emerged as a potential candidate to replace the outgoing Yann Sommer at the end of the season.
In addition to Carnesecchi, Inter are also keeping close tabs on Swedish center-back Isak Hien .
With Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij on their way out, the Nerazzurri are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements.
Meanwhile, Hien has established himself as one of the most reliable defenders in Serie A over the past two years.
Last but not least, Giorgio Scalvini and Ederson are two remaining Atalanta star who caught Beppe Marotta's attention.
However, the Italian defender had to watch Bayern hammer his side from the sidelines after receiving a red card against Borussia Dortmund in the playoffs.
