Injuries continue to plague the Carolina Panthers' offensive line. Taylor Moton suffered a fractured fibula and an ankle injury last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is expected to miss the rest of the season. Meanwhile, Damien Lewis popped up on Monday's injury report with a knee injury. Lewis has been the Panthers' best offensive lineman this season, as shown by his 78.6 pass-blocking grade, 76.6 run-blocking grade, and 80.7 PFF grade.

Damien Lewis was estimated as a non-participant during this week's practice, a negative sign regarding his Week 8 availability. The Panthers already released their official injury report on Wednesday and ruled Lewis out for Thursday Night Football, his second game of the season. In addition, Torricelli Simpkins III will also not play against the Packers due to an ankle injury.

Former Baltimore Ravens undrafted free agent Corey Bullock is expected to start at left guard. After spending his first three offseasons with Baltimore, the Ravens released him during roster cuts. The Panthers claimed him off waivers, and he made his first career start at left guard in Week 4 against the Lions.
With only seven healthy offensive linemen on the active roster, Carolina will likely elevate one from the practice squad to the game-day roster. The Panthers will elevate either Jake Curhan or Saahdiq Charles.
