Santiago Castro then added: "Thank you to everyone who has accompanied me and been part of this journey. As a child, I dreamed of this moment, and today I can say it has come true. An unforgettable day. May it be the first of many."
In the mixed zone, Santiago Castro said: "I can't describe it in words. It's an immense feeling." And on Messi: "It will be the first time I'll meet him. It's a wonderful feeling, but also a little sad, because you want to see him play forever. It's thanks to him that I fell in love with this sport, the national team, and this jersey."
