What channel is UNC-ETSU basketball on Tuesday night?
The North Carolina Tar Heels continued their winning ways on the basketball court Saturday afternoon, beating USC Upstate in a tougher-than-expected, 80-62 win.
UNC (9-1) trailed by one with nearly six minutes left in the opening half, only for hot shooting and strong defense to take over. North Carolina shot the ball particularly well from deep, going 10-of-23 (43 percent), while getting a much-welcomed 17 points from Jonathan Powell off the bench.
The Tar Heels have a quick turnaround, staying in Chapel Hill Tuesday night to host East Tennessee State, for an 8 p.m. tip-off. ETSU is off to an 8-3 start, but lacks a quality victory.
You might view Tuesday as a tune-up for the CBS Sports Classic this coming weekend, when UNC battles Ohio State in Atlanta. Tuesday will be far from that, with Saturday's result showcasing North Carolina has plenty to work on.
The Tar Heels made just 14 of their 22 free throw attempts against Upstate (6-6), a far cry from the RJ Davis years . Granted, Davis is an extremely efficient shooter from the charity stripe, but 64 percent from the line can hurt teams come NCAA Tournament time.
ETSU has a forward-heavy scoring attack, led by 14.2 points from Cam Morris III. While the Bucs are game-planning, they should look to UNC's struggles on the offensive glass.
If you're heading to Chapel Hill tonight, spend some time in the Dean Dome for this Holiday clash.. If you're planning to watch today's game on TV, your favorite streaming device, listening on the radio or somewhere else, keep reading below for more broadcast information.
