Ja'Kobi Gillespie scored 29 points, including six 3-pointers, in Tennessee's win.
Virginia will meet Tennessee for the 15th time and third time in the NCAA Tournament. While Virginia has an 8-6 advantage in the series, the Volunteers have won two in a row, most recently last season when Tennessee won 64-42 in the Bahamas.
