Virginia will take on Tennessee in the second round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Sunday, March 22.

No. 3 Virginia (30-5) survived an upset bid in the first round, beating Wright State 82-73 Friday, March 20. No. 6 Tennessee (23-11) beat Miami ( Ohio ) 78-56 to advance.

Virginia used a 15-3 run over the final 5:32 to hold off the Raiders. Jacari White came off the bench to score a game-high 26 points, going 10-of-12 from the field including hitting six 3s.

Ja'Kobi Gillespie scored 29 points, including six 3-pointers, in Tennessee's win.

Virginia will meet Tennessee for the 15th time and third time in the NCAA Tournament. While Virginia has an 8-6 advantage in the series, the Volunteers have won two in a row, most recently last season when Tennessee won 64-42 in the Bahamas.
