Chivas beat América in Oakland!
Oakland, California.- Guadalajara once again played great soccer against its fiercest rival and deservedly claimed Mexico's Clásicoin Oakland. As part of the Tour Rebaño 2026, Chivas took the field at the Coliseum determined to defeat Las Águilas, and with a brace from Ángel Sepúlveda, they did just that with a 2-0 win before a sellout crowd of more than 60,000 fans, the vast majority of them rojiblancos.
The Rebaño Sagrado showed its usual movement and ball control from the opening whistle, and throughout the 90 minutes maintained its shape to control the pace of the match and limit the azulcrema side's attacking play. In addition to the win, the night was especially memorable for four young players from the Cantera Rojiblanca , as Carlos Hernández, Leonel Calderón, Rodrigo Parraand Jesús Hernándezgot their first minutes with Guadalajara's First Team.
