Another goal accomplished for Chivas Femenil, who claimed a 0-1 victory over Atlante this afternoon to officially secure second place in Group B of the Apertura 2026. As a result, the Rojiblancas are guaranteed to host the second leg of the Quarterfinals at Estadio AKRON. Antonio Contreras' side reached 27 points following the win in Ajusco, which also leaves them in fourth place in the overall standings.
El Rebaño took the field at CAR Atlante with authority, fully aware of the opportunity in front of them in this first-ever meeting against the Azulgrana side. Guadalajara took the lead early, allowing them to dictate the flow of the match.
The hosts looked to make the most of counterattacks as their primary weapon, but Chivas' defensive performance was outstanding, extending their streak to five consecutive matches without conceding a goal. Guadalajara had a chance to score a second goal late in the match, but the goalkeeper and the crossbar kept the scoreline unchanged.
Chivas Femenil will now head out on the road once again, traveling to Estadio Nemesio Diez to face Toluca next Friday, October 30, in Matchday 13 of AP26.
