The Suffern, N.Y., native is in his second season with the Cardinals. A third team All-ACC selection in 2025, Lubin notched 8.5 sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss, ranking fourth and seventh in the ACC, respectively.
A Spring 2026 graduate, Lubin posted a 3.31 cumulative GPA while earning his degree in communications. He was a 2025 All-ACC Academic Team selection and on the 2025-26 ACC Honor Roll and Spring 2026 Dean's List.

Named after Danny Wuerffel, the 1996 Heisman Trophy winner and former University of Florida quarterback, the award reflects his lifelong commitment to leadership, service and unity.
