The Cleveland Browns had their first on-field practice Tuesday, ahead of the Thursday Night Football matchup with the AFC North Division rival Pittsburgh Steelers on Amazon's Prime Video.
After Monday's walkthrough and estimated availability, the Browns were officially able to get back onto the field ahead of their big clash. There are some positive signs, too, as the Browns could get one offensive lineman back, while four injured players were able to take part in practice on a limited basis.
Teven Jenkins Finally Returns to Practice
Browns offensive guard Teven Jenkins, one of just a handful of players held over from last season's disappointing offensive line, was able to return to the practice field for the first time in nearly three weeks.
In the practice on Wednesday, Sept. 9, prior to the regular-season opener on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars , Jenkins suffered a back injury, and he was forced to miss the first three games of the season.
Rookie Austin Barber was thrust into action in place of Jenkins, and he did a phenomenal job. It remains to be seen, if Jenkins is ready, whether first-year head coach Todd Monken goes back to Jenkins, or stays the course with Barber. The Browns have won the past two games, so Monken might not be keen to fiddle around with the lineup too much.

Meanwhile, Elgton Jenkins is battling a concussion, and he has been unable to practice in each of the first two games this week. We'll know a lot more about his status on Wednesday, but with a short week, the clock is ticking.
Offensive tackle Tytus Howard had a challenging game in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers , and he was a limited participant in practice Tuesday due to a knee injury.
Same Faces on Defense Again on Injury Report
Last week, cornerback Tyson Campbell (knee) and safety Grant Delpit (shoulder) appeared on the injury report. Campbell missed the Week 3 game due to what was listed as ankle, hip and knee injuries. He is only listed with a knee this week, so perhaps that's a good sign. He was a limited participant on Tuesday.
Delpit was active in Week 3 despite being on the report leading up to the game, and he had two solo tackles and four total stops. He was a limited participant again on Tuesday, but he is fully expected to suit up against the Steelers.
