Looking ahead to 2026 for Durell Nchami
The Colts have their share of questions at defensive end entering training camp, but this is a crowded room for Nchami to navigate.
Laiatu Latu will lead the way, while Jaylahn Tuimoloau and Arden Key compete for the starting role opposite of him. Micheal Clemons likely fills a rotational role, while the Colts drafted Caden Curry and George Gumbs.

That's already six players mentioned -- not including UDFA Mitchell Melton, who has upside -- at a position where teams typically roster five to six players at maximum. Nchami has experience compared to Curry and Gumbs -- which is valuable -- but those two are recent draft picks and are less likely to make it to the practice squad unclaimed than Nchami, which is a factor in the roster-building process.
