The Crew have traded forward Ibrahim Aliyu back to the Houston Dynamo for $250,000 in general allocation money, the club announced on March 12.
In addition to the guaranteed money, the Crew can earn an additional $500,000k if certain, undisclosed performance-based incentives are met.
Last April, the Crew traded for Aliyu from Houston for $450,000k in general allocation money, with the 24-year-old slotting as one of the three U-22 initiative players on the roster.

Aliyu made his Crew debut on May 3 and finished the regular season with three goals and two assists across 23 appearances. During the three-game MLS Cup series against FC Cincinnati, Aliyu logged just two minutes from off the bench.
The Crew, who traded for Ibrahim Aliyu last season, have dealt the forward back to the Houston Dynamo.
The Crew now have 30 players available for game-day selection on the roster after the club also sent 20-year-old goalkeeper Stanislav Lapkes to USL's Sarasota Paradise via a loan through at least October.
