How bad was it?
The Washington Commanders had their much-anticipated scrimmage against the Ravens on Wednesday. Those who watched the scrimmage from a Washington perspective left very emphatic that the Ravens' defense outplayed the Commanders' offense.

How about we look at what some Commanders players themselves had to say about the disappointing scrimmage:

"There's no excuses, everybody is tired at this point... how we started, that's how you win five games. We have to be way better." Commanders safety Jeremy Reaves.

"Obviously, those are NFL guys as well. Coach Q said there is no team in the NFL that is going to let you roll over them. So the focus is being able to come out and start fast right away. But of course, there are always going to be ups and downs." Commanders corner Mike Sainristil.

Sounds like, from the players as well, it was a rough day. Perhaps this will increase the sense of urgency among some Commanders leaders, since they begin the season in Philadelphia, in Dallas, and at home against Super Bowl champion Seattle?
