Concussion could rule Dortmund striker out of upcoming Freiburg fixture

Despite scoring in last weekend's defeat to TSG Hoffenheim , Serhou Guirassy supposedly suffered from a concussion late on.

According to Sky Germany, the Borussia Dortmund striker is now at risk of missing Sunday's home game against SC Freiburg .

The Guinean sustained the injury during an aerial challenge in his own penalty area, defending a set-piece shortly before scoring.

He was checked by Ozan Kabak as he attempted to clear his lines in the 84th-minute and went down clutching the side of his head.

Kabak received no personal punishment, but BVB's team doctors diagnosed Guirassy with a concussion after the match.

The Dortmund top scorer this season was unable to train over the weekend or on Tuesday. A final decision will be made later this week.
