New contract details for Steelers CB Jamel Dean emerge
The Pittsburgh Steelers newest cornerback — former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Jamel Dean — had his contract details revealed.
According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, Dean's three-year contract is worth $36.75 million, containing a $12 million signing bonus, along with $13.5 million in guaranteed money. His salaries are as follows: $1.5 million, $8 million, and $11.25 million.
Dean, who played in 96 games during his seven-year stint with the Buccaneers , recorded 11 interceptions, 61 passes defended, and 359 combined tackles in his NFL career. He has allowed just one touchdown since 2024.
The Steelers have around $30 million left in cap space following their latest moves in free agency and could look to pull off some big-time acquisitions, such as additional offensive line help and the potential return of Aaron Rodgers .
