- When could Leeds United make their next move for Igor Paixao after exit 'deadline' news?
Leeds United were heavily linked with a move for Igor Paixao in the summer.
The Whites were keen on signing attacking reinforcements across their forward line this summer, but missed out on several top targets.

Paixao was someone who dominated headlines for weeks ahead of the deadline, as Marseille looked likely to sell.
The Ligue 1 outfit needed to raise funds through player sales at the time, but was still reluctant to sell after rejecting a £20million offer for their winger.
The Whites only had a tight budget to be working with after securing several other top targets, and it looked like they were going to be pipped by Sunderland to the playmaker.
However, Paixao is still a Marseille player, which means Leeds could go back in for the Brazilian in the future.

Leeds were linked with Paixao throughout the summer transfer window, a player who had interest across Europe.
Sunderland were in pole position for the 26-year-old, but turned their attention to Malick Fofana ahead of the deadline.
There was a suggestion that the 49ers were waiting on the Black Cats to make an offer before lodging a bid of their own, but this didn't happen before the deadline slammed shut.
Now, according to Top Mercato , the player himself has set a "deadline" to leave Marseille, with the summer of 2027 looking likely.
It's said that a realistic valuation of the player is between £34m and £42m.

Speaking about his Marseille future recently, Paixao said: "I don't know, it's difficult because in January the teams are already formed; there is a better chance that I will leave next summer."
Leeds, Sunderland and Aston Villa were the three Premier League clubs that were interested, while Italian clubs are said to be keen now.
It's understood that the forward is not overwhelmed by proposals right now.
Paixao's representatives have opened up on what happened in the summer after speculation over a move to Elland Road.

Leeds were quoted around £42.7m for Paixao in the summer, though his valuation may soon fall, which could be good news for Daniel Farke.
He has not registered a goal or an assist in his first six games of the season, despite having 18 goal contributions last term for Marseille.
It appears that even if the Whites still want to make a move for the forward in the future, it will have to be next summer.
However, after all that was reported, Paixao's team have revealed that their client wanted to stay in France the whole time.
They said, as quoted by Top Mercato : "Igor received a few offers this summer; the one from Sunderland, the most concrete, was rejected by the club .

"As his intention was to stay in Marseille, Igor remained very quiet."
Whether or not Leeds are still keen on a move remains to be seen, but the timeframe is set for Paixao to leave Marseille.
