Coveted transfer guard lands with Arkansas
John Calipari has always loved guards who could score early and often. He's continued that blueprint with the Razorbacks, as TheFort Smith Southwest Times Record reports that transfer Jeremiah Wilkinson has committed to the program.
Wilkinson is coming off a sophomore season at Georgia , where he averaged over 17 points per game. He's been something of a scorer-for-hire throughout his college career, as he averaged over 15 points per game with Cal as a freshman.
He shot the three-ball better with Georgia, so it'll be interesting to see if that trend continues at Arkansas.
Wilkinson also has quick hands, having averaged over a steal per game with the Bulldogs last season.
Wilkinson figures to help fill the likely void left by Darius Acuff Jr., who flew up NBA mock draft boards this spring with his stellar play.
