The Dallas Cowboys have injury concerns surrounding two key starters after their 24-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb dealt with quadriceps tightness, while left tackle Tyler Guyton left the game with a back injury.
ESPN's Todd Archer reported that Lamb's quadriceps tightened up after he took a hit for the second consecutive game. That explains why the star receiver was not on the field during the closing stages against Tampa Bay.
"CeeDee Lamb's quadriceps tightened up after taking a hit for the second straight game, which is why he wasn't on the field at the end of the game. Tyler Guyton had a back injury. X-rays at the stadium were good, but he will get more examinations on Friday," Archer tweeted.

The setback came after Lamb's productive outing against Houston, when he caught 17 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown. He managed only two receptions for nine yards on five targets Thursday, falling well short of that previous performance.
Dallas still put together a late scoring drive without Lamb. Dak Prescott connected with George Pickens for a 17-yard touchdown at the end of a 99-yard possession, bringing the Cowboys within eight points. The team then failed to complete its two-point attempt.
Guyton's situation remains less clear. The starting left tackle exited with a back problem, and Broderick Jones took over for him. Archer reported that Guyton's stadium X-rays showed no concerning findings, but additional tests were planned for Friday.
For now, the available information does not establish a recovery timeline.
