Reports circulating on social media suggest Mexican supporters are planning a gesture during the match.
Analistas, a popular Mexican account on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that local fans may chant Ronaldo's name in the seventh minute of the match.
The tribute would reflect the global admiration the 41-year-old striker continues to command.
Even without stepping onto the pitch, Ronaldo 's influence remains significant.

Mexico, meanwhile, will look to capitalise on home support in a rare high-profile clash against Europeans.
