Dailyn Swain didn't enter the 2025-26 season as a prospective first-round pick.
But on Tuesday night, he was chosen No. 15 overall by the Chicago Bulls in the 2026 NBA Draft.
It's an awesome rise for Swain, a bit of a late bloomer even during draft season, but it's a pick the Bulls have to feel good about.

Who is Dailyn Swain?
Swain is a 20-year old wing who spent some of his childhood in Sandusky, Ohio before moving to Columbus and starring at Africentric Early College at the high school level.
He played at Xavier, then transferred to Texas.
He led the Longhorns in points, rebounds, assists and steals this season. He does it all.
Swain is 6-foot-8 and 225 pounds. He's a grown man ready for the NBA.
In his final college season, Swain averaged 17.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
The only thing left wanting is his shooting: He was at 31.7% from 3-point range, but that was the best of his career.
Swain also isn't a super high flyer, but he can really play basketball.
He'll fit in as a solid secondary player on the wing for Chicago.
