Daniel Farke didn't help himself as Leeds United lost to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
The Whites fell to a 2-0 defeat at the Vitality Stadium as goals from Evanilson and Amine Adli made the difference.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin saw an opening goal ruled out that could have changed the trajectory of the afternoon.
The Cherries deserved the three points in the end as the away side were too passive after a very good start.
That was thanks in part to the approach from Farke that halted any true attacking threat.
There is a clear change that could be made to aid Leeds moving forward, and it revolves around Harry Wilson.
What went wrong for Leeds United vs Bournemouth?
There have been complaints starting to pile up towards the German at Elland Road.
Many have suggested that the tactical approach is starting to go stale and hamper progress.
That was only amplified against Bournemouth as the lack of attacking threat raised concern.
Calvert-Lewin was left isolated, while Dan James and Wilson struggled to truly get into the game the longer it went on.
That was largely due to the lack of link between the defence and forward line as Ao Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu failed to provide it.
Sean Longstaff and Anton Stach didn't solve that issue, but it feels that Wilson could do exactly that.

The head coach has succeeded with his 3-4-2-1 approach since the defeat to Manchester City last season.
He can't be discredited for that, but it is getting more and more stale by the week.
A simple change could prove to make a world of difference.
By dropping Wilson into a number 10 role and playing with two strikers, there would be much more attacking dynamism on show from Leeds.
That would allow for the Wales international to link play between the defenders and attackers while also picking up space to make things happen for himself.
Calvert-Lewin also seeks to benefit from that as a strike partner could enhance his numbers as he looks for knockdowns.
Such a simple tactical tweak could make for a turn in performance levels and ease the frustrations towards Farke.
If he doesn't do that, his future hangs seriously in the balance.
