Lazio will receive a major injury boost ahead of their Serie A clash against Monza, as Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and others are expected to be back.
The Biancocelesti started their league campaign on a brilliant note, collecting 13 out of 15 possible points from the first matchdays. However, Gennaro Gattuso has been operating with limited options, especially in the middle of the park due to injuries. But the good news for the manager is that four players are making their way back to action.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio Siamo Noi ), Matteo Cancellieri should be available when the Serie A action resumes this weekend. The 24-year-old winger suffered a leg injury during the brief vacation the club granted to the non-international players, so he missed the two friendly fixtures against Arezzo and Juve Stabia.

But the good news for the Italian is that he avoided a serious injury, so he should place himself at Gattuso's disposal when Lazio host Monza on October 11.
The head coach will also be able to rely on Dele-Bashiru, who featured during the second half of the 3-3 draw against Juve Stabia . The Nigerian's return will boost the Aquile's midfield department, giving the manager further options behind Kenneth Taylor, Davide Frattesi, and Reda Belahyane.
Like Dele-Bashiru, Adam Marusic picked up a hamstring injury on the opening day of the Serie A campaign against Bologna, and has been out of action ever since. The Roman newspaper also tips the Montenegrin veteran to earn a call-up this weekend, albeit Romano Floriano Mussolini will be expected to start at right-back.
At this stage, it remains to be seen if Nicolo Rovella will make the cut, but the Italian Regista is working hard in training to make himself available in time for the contest against his former employers.
On the contrary, Danilo Cataldi isn't expected to return before the clash against Juventus on October 18, while Albert Gudmundsson is facing at least a month on the sidelines after dislocating his shoulder while on international duty.
