When talking about Chelsea's striker situation, the main concerns are what to do with Liam Delap and Marc Guiu , now it's been established that Emmanuel Emegha is the chosen man to back up Joao Pedro in the first team squad.
But those aren't the only two who need something – don't forget Deivid Washington, the young Brazilian signed for £17m in 2023 in one of the most disastrous moves made by this current ownership thus far.
He's been back in Brazil on loan at Santos, but that move didn't work out well either. So far, apart from three appearances under Mauricio Pochettino, Washington has featured mainly for our academy – but even there he is taking minutes away from more deserving players.
