Devils Lake's Wylee Delorme transfers to Jamestown after one season at UND
Apr. 14—GRAND FORKS — Wylee Delorme is heading back to the NSIC.
The former Devils Lake graduate unveiled his commitment to Jamestown Monday morning.
Delorme, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound guard, announced his entry into the transfer portal on April 1 after spending one season at UND. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
Delorme's collegiate career began at U-Mary. He appeared in 21 games and made no starts, averaging 6.3 points per game.
Delorme transferred to UND after his freshman season. He averaged 8.1 minutes in 20 games and did not make a start.
Delorme averaged 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds per game as a Fighting Hawk. Though he was not one of the Hawks' go-to players off the bench, Delorme showed flashes of promise.
He often used his lengthy frame to grab rebounds and score at the rim. Delorme's best game of the season was against South Dakota State on Jan. 3, when he shot 5-for-6 for 12 points and grabbed six rebounds.
Jamestown put together a solid season in the NSIC. The Jimmies were 14-14 overall and 12-10 in conference play, second only to Minnesota Duluth in the North division. It was the program's first year at the Division II level.
U-Mary, Delorme's first college team, finished 5-23 overall this season.
Delorme is far from the only Hawk departing this offseason. Freshman forward Marley Curtis, redshirt freshman guard Greyson Uelmen redshirt sophomore forward Matthew Bothun, freshman guard Anthony Smith III, junior forward George Natsvlishvili, redshirt sophomore forward/center Ryan Erikson and redshirt sophomore guard Anthony Doppler have all entered the transfer portal.
Smith committed to Winthrop last week.
There are only four players from the 2025-26 roster who have not hit the portal or are expected to graduate: redshirt sophomore guard Zach Kraft, freshman forward Karson Ouse, freshman forward Micah Curtis and junior center Josh Jones.
It's going to be a busy offseason for head coach Paul Sather and his coaching staff.
UND's first portal addition was
Luke Winkel
, a two-time First Team All-NSIC guard at St. Cloud State.
