- Devils place veteran winger Stefan Noesen on waivers
The Devils are parting ways with one of their veteran wingers, placing Stefan Noesenon waivers.
Noesen has spent the two seasons with New Jersey after joining them in free agency.
He enjoyed a career-best showing during his first year with the team, but ultimately saw his production drop off as he battled through injuries last season.

Noesen seemingly fell out of favor in the lineup over the summer, going pointless while averaging just seven minutes of ice time over the first two games to start the year.
So with the Devils needing a defenseman to take the place of Jonas Siegenthaler(undisclosed), the 33-year-old now loses his spot on the roster.
Teams have until 2 p.m. Friday to claim Noesen, or he'll be sent to the AHL.
