Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence did not receive either the Comeback Player of the Year or Most Valuable Player awards at the NFL Honors show held Feb. 5.
Instead, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey took home the honor of Comeback Player of the Year, while Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford was named the league's MVP.
Lawrence finished as a finalist for both honors at the awards show that took place in San Francisco on Thursday night.
Lawrence was named a finalist for the Associated Press' Comeback Player of the Year after missing seven games in 2024, posting his worst season in the NFL. The Jaguars underwent a regime change following the 4-13 season. Lawrence's 2024 season ended with shoulder surgery after sustaining a severe AC joint sprain that year. He had also missed games with a concussion.
