After landing pick No. 11 in the 2026 NFL draft due to their poor performance in 2025, the Miami Dolphins then traded that selection to the Dallas Cowboys , moved down one spot and picked up two more Day-3 selections.
With pick No. 12, the Dolphins took Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor.

Proctor, 20, was a five-star recruit and the top offensive lineman in his class coming out of Southeast Polk High School in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. He committed to Alabama in 2022.
The 6-foot-7 monster started 39 games at left tackle for the Crimson Tide, earning All-SEC honors twice and All-American honors once. He was also named the best blocker in the SEC in 2025.
