Two Los Angeles Dodgers who were nominated for Gold Glove Awards for the 2026 season were both snubbed, extending a frustrating streak for the Boys in Blue.
Center fielder Andy Pages and third baseman Max Muncy both were passed over, meaning a Dodger hasn't won a Gold Glove since 2022.
Why didn't any Dodgers get Gold Glove Awards?
Pages and Muncy were both All-Stars this season , but they each missed out on taking home the hardware for different reasons.
For Muncy, his defensive play was stout, something he prides himself on , but still wasn't necessarily elite.
The Fielding Bible has Muncy with only two defensive runs saved this season, well behind the 15 of Gold Glove winner Alex Bregman of the Chicago Cubs and San Francisco Giant Matt Chapman.
Baseball Savant paints a similar picture , with Muncy scoring -2 outs above average, good for the 32nd percentile.
Bregman, meanwhile , had nine outs above average, putting him in the 94th percentile.

While Muncy's case was a little shaky, Pages had some numbers to support his Gold Glove candidacy.
Baseball Savant shows that Pages was in the top 5% in outs above average with 10, arm value and arm strength.
Where he missed out, though, was going up against a generational season by presumptive NL MVP Pete Crow-Armstrong.
Baseball Savant has him in the top 10% in all of those categories, including an incredible 26 outs above average.
The Fielding Bible , however, gives the edge to Pages, with 20 total runs saved for him and only 16 for Crow-Armstrong.

"Crow-Armstrong was also dinged by his high number of Defensive Misplays and Errors in center field," Mark Simon wrote.
What does this mean for the Dodgers?
Whether justified or not, both Pages and Muncy have missed out on Gold Glove Awards, making Mookie Betts in 2022 the last Dodger to win.
It's worth noting, though, that Betts won that award for his work in right field, not at shortstop, where he currently plays.
This means no current Dodgers have won a Gold Glove at the position they currently play.
When do you think the Dodgers will snap their streak?
