On this episode of The Dodgers Post, Jack Harris and Dylan Hernández are in Toronto , where the Dodgers emphatically opened their World Series rematch with a blowout of the Blue Jays.
They talk about the team's offensive surge, which has been led by Shohei Ohtani , Freddie Freeman and early breakout star Andy Pages ; and whether the concerns that were raised by an opening-week slump have already been fixed.
They also discuss Mookie Betts ' oblique strain, and why the age of the roster will be an issue for the team to navigate this season.
They then break down Roki Sasaki's latest start, the development of his new third pitch, and why he is struggling with his trademark splitter.
And they revisit last year's World Series, with the Dodgers back in Toronto for the first time since their epic Game 7 triumph.
All that and more, as the regular season gets into full swing.
