Dodgers insider for The Athletic Fabian Ardaya dropped the update involving the veteran pitcher . Including sharing what manager Dave Roberts told him.
"Dave Roberts said Tyler Glasnow 'hasn't gotten over the hump' to ramp up his throwing progression beyond playing catch. Back isn't bothering him, per se, but hasn't been able to let it rip," Ardaya posted on the social media website X, formerly Twitter.
The right-hander worked out on the field back on May 13, suggesting Glasnow was making a return . But clearly he's not 100% healthy just yet.
Los Angeles is witnessing other pitchers dominate amid Glasnow's absence. Justin Wrobleski rose as one who turned heads, creating a no-hit bid against the Philadelphia Phillies Friday. Wrobleski watched the potential no-hitter evaporate in the sixth . But LA pulled off the 4-2 win with Wrobleski striking out nine batters. He also walked no one through the first seven innings.
