Although the Green Bay Packers were able to secure another victory on Thursday Night Football, Richard Sherman held back some of his praise for the team after what he had already seen.
It was certainly a shaky start to the season for the Packers after they lost two of their opening three games. Matt LaFleur's team appear to have turned a corner since then having won four of their following five games.
With the Packers fans naturally delighted to see their team add another win to the board on Thursday at Lambeau Field, Sherman urged caution given the Packers have lost to the two strongest teams they have faced this season.

Beating the Panthers to go 5-3 proved a solid result for the Packers to kick-off Week Eight of the NFL season. However, Sherman wants to see the Packers beat a contender before he goes all in with his praise.
"Last time this Green Bay Packers team played the Minnesota Vikings, they got hit in the face by this Vikings defence. They didn't do anything in the second half. You can boo all you want, but you lost by 17. Don't be mad at me. Be mad at your team," Sherman said on Amazon Prime's coverage.
The Packers have lost three times this season, with two of those losses coming against the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions. Two teams that are impressing in the NFC North as the Packers remain bottom of the division.
With the Vikings still unbeaten, the Packers will have an opportunity to respond to their Week One loss when they host their divisional rivals in two weeks' time. Although the Packers handled the Chicago Bears, they did so without Caleb Williams at QB for the Bears.
There is still plenty of time for this Packers team to prove themselves but they will need to start winning more of their divisional games if they are to make it to the postseason.
