Green finished with seven points, six rebounds, nine assists and four steals in 35 minutes of action versus the Clippers. Once again, the four-time NBA champion's overall impact did not show up solely on the stat sheet.
Green delivered two crucial defensive stops down the stretch to seal the comeback win. With 48 seconds left, he tipped an inbound pass from Bennedict Mathurin . The steal led to a layup from Brandin Podziemski on the other end. On the next possession, Green snatched the ball from Leonard. That steal sent Curry to the foul line and closed the door on Los Angeles .

There is a reason Green is considered the heart and soul of the Golden State franchise. His leadership salvaged a Warriors season ravaged by injuries.
On the year, Green averaged 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game. Golden State faces Phoenix on Friday in a do-or-die game, and Green's impact will once again be required.
