Drew Kendall ruled out for Jaguars, as well as DeVonta Smith and Saquon Barkley originally appeared on NBC Sports Philadelphia
The Eagles on Friday officially ruled out starting center Drew Kendall – among several others – for their game against the Jaguars Sunday in London after he missed a third straight practice.
Kendall took over at center in Week 2 with Cam Jurgens moving to Landon Dickerson's left guard spot when Dickerson went on Injured Reserve. Kendall's solid performance the last three weeks is one of the reasons the Eagles were comfortable trading Jurgens to the Ravens. But he will miss the Jaguars game as he deals with a knee injury.
With Dickerson out for at least another week, Kendall unavailable and Jurgens in Baltimore, the Eagles are expected to start two undrafted players with no career starts at left guard and center – Willie Lampkin and Jake Majors, probably with Lampkin at left guard and Majors at center but conceivably the other way around. Markel Bell will be making his second career start at right tackle in place of retired Lane Johnson.
The Eagles also ruled out wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring), edge rusher Jonathan Greenard (ankle) and running back Saquon Barkley (hamstring). Smith and Barkley missed the Rams game and Greenard got hurt during the game.
Also out for Sunday: Wide receiver Hollywood Brown (ankle) and safety Marcus Epps (groin).
Jalen Hurts popped up on the injury report Friday with a calf but was a full participant in practice and doesn't carry an injury designation. It was the first day this week he's been on the injury report.
Some good news for all-pros Zack Baun and Quinyon Mitchell.
Baun, who suffered a concussion in the Titans game and missed the Rams, has been cleared out of protocol and is expected to play Sunday. Mitchell (knee) was a full participant Friday and does not have an injury designation, so he's good to go.
Also, Receiver Dontayvion Wicks (hamstring), who's been listed as limited the last two days with a hamstring, doesn't carry an injury designation and is expected to play Sunday. Edge rusher A.J. Epenesa (back) was also limited Friday but expected to play.
Linebacker Jihaad Campbell (knee), offensive tackle Fred Johnson (knee), tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) and tight end E.J. Jenkins (toe), who were limited on Thursday, were all full participants Friday, do not have an injury status and are expected to play against Jacksonville.
