Terry has been with the Ducks through their tough rebuilding years . When the losses kept piling up, Terry was among the most productive players on this team. He will skate in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time this year. And it’s a moment he cannot wait to experience for himself.
“It’s made it worth it. There’s been times I know the fans have felt it. The ebbs and flows of rebuilding and some of the moves that were hard to see at the time. You can see it all coming together. It makes it worth it to me to be here through the whole thing. I’m just excited — I’m excited for our fans and I’m excited for our team,” the Ducks forward said, via Victory+ reporter Troy Terry.
Terry has come up clutch for the Ducks in the past. And that was no different on Thursday night. He scored the game-winning goal against the Nashville Predators to give Anaheim a 5-4 win to end the regular season.
Anaheim does not officially know who they will be facing in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. However, it appears likely that they will take on the Edmonton Oilers in the first round. Edmonton is currently beating the Vancouver Canucks by a score of 6-1. The schedule for the Stanley Cup Playoffs is not currently set, but the postseason is slated to begin on Saturday.
