The Devils enter as solid home favorites coming off a 4-3 victory against Colorado, while the Ducks look to snap a four-game losing skid.

A key player prop angle in this matchup focuses on New Jersey center Dawson Mercer . Through 9 games in the 2026-27 season, Mercer has struggled to maintain consistent shot generation, totaling 21 shots on goal (averaging 2.33 SOG per game) while being held to under 1.5 shots in two of his last five outings.
Despite registering two shots on four total attempts in his last contest against Colorado, Action PRO projects him at 1.38 SOGs for tonight.
With even-money odds available, we have a 9.9% edge on the under.
Given Mercer's fluctuating ice time and shot-volume trends this season, this is a strong option at the current market price.
