Hull City vs Man Utd PREVIEW!
Manchester United are preparing for their first Premier League fixture of the 2026/27 campaign, with Michael Carrick set to lead the Reds into his first full season at the helm.
United played six matches during pre-season, beginning with a defeat to Wrexham before responding with victories over Rosenborg and Atletico Madrid . Draws against Paris Saint-Germain and Leeds United followed, before the Reds ended their preparations with a disappointing 4-2 defeat to AC Milan .
Despite that final setback, United will be encouraged by their relatively clean bill of health, with almost every player coming through the six fixtures without a significant injury. Carrick can now turn his attention to improving on last season's third-placed finish as the Reds prepare for the new campaign.
Their opening fixture will see United travel to the MKM Stadium to face newly-promoted Hull City. New signings Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos could make their competitive debuts, while Marcus Rashford is also set to return to action.
