As the Philadelphia Eagles have lost six straight games, head coach Nick Sirianni is facing questions about his job security.
Sirianni, who previously led the Eagles to a Super Bowl win, has faced questions about his job security for a few years now. The 45-year-old head coach is confident that he'll continue to be the guy, though.
This week, Sirianni made it clear that he feels secure, thanks to his relationship with Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie.
"I've always felt nothing but complete support from Mr. Lurie in everything, through good times, through bad times," Sirianni said, via a transcript from the team . "That's huge. That's huge to be able to know that the owner has your back in all situations. We've been high of highs, we've been low, and I've felt nothing but support and my communication remains the same with him as it has [been] whether we're on a winning streak or whether we're on a losing streak. I love that steadiness, and I'm trying to give that same thing to the guys: the consistency, the steadiness, because I know I'm receiving it from the very top."

The Eagles have fired Super Bowl-winning head coaches in the past. Doug Pederson led the Eagles to a Super Bowl win, before getting fired after going 4-11-1 in 2020.
Philadelphia is 5-11 over its last 16 games under Sirianni.
Sirianni has blamed himself for Eagles struggles this season
The Eagles head coach has taken the blame for some of Philadelphia's losses in the past this season.
"It's just like you would feel if you missed a free throw at the end of the game, or if you had a drop," Sirianni said after a loss earlier in October . "I've been in both of those places. And those ones stick with you, and that will stick with me for a long time. All I know is that I'll work my butt off to get better from it. But, yeah, that one will hurt for a long time. I still think about those other things that have, I've lost games for us in the past as far as, you know, when I played."
