- Eagles cut two practice squad players

The Philadelphia Eagles officially announced two moves on Tuesday afternoon:
DB Dean Clark and OT Xavier Truss were released from the practice squad.
Safe to say the Eagles' season is back on track now that they've identified the problems and removed them.
Let's sort through this news on a player-by-player basis.
The Eagles originally signed Clark to their practice squad on October 14 . As someone who regularly writes about the team's transactions, I forgot this happened (in part because his signing was simultaneously announced with more front-and-center news about the team opening 21-day practice windows for four players to return from injured reserve).
Clark was seemingly on the team to help provide some extra depth at safety and nickel corner. But now he's gone after less than two weeks with the Eagles.
The Eagles originally signed Truss on October 13 . He was around to provide some offensive line depth, having experience at four of the five offensive line positions.
Now he's gone after two weeks with the Eagles.
We'll soon see how the team plans to fill these vacancies.
