El Shaarawy: "I gave everything for this club and the fans know it."
Stephan El Shaarawy gave an interview to DAZN before featuring in his last match as a Roma player tonight.
" Verona ? A crucial match, the most important of the season, because we're now playing for Champions League qualification, which has been missing for eight years. Now everything depends on us; with a win, we'd be guaranteed qualification. We're preparing for it with great enthusiasm, also thanks to our derby victory."

"Certainly, beyond the derby win itself, it's also important for our confidence and our standings. We're coming into this match ready, knowing we're well prepared; we deserve to qualify for everything we've done this year."
"As I've already said, Roma has given me so much, both the club, the team, and the city in general. I grew up here; it's a place that welcomes you, that immediately gives you so much love and affection, something I found again when I returned in 2021. Feeling all this affection was a great feeling, and my time with Roma has been a beautiful story…"
"I've received so much affection; it's a place you have a bond with, and little by little that bond has strengthened over the years. I've always tried to give everything for this shirt, and I think the fans have understood that and recognized it, and that's enough for me; it will always remain in my memories."
