📝 Espanyol and Sevilla draw in a dramatic finale
RCD Espanyol and Sevilla FC drew 1-1 in a match marked by Sangante's sending-off in the 55th minute.
The Seville side took the lead with a goal from Lucas Stassin in the 84th minute, but the home team equalised in stoppage time through Marcos Fernández in the 97th minute.
The draw leaves a bittersweet feeling for both teams. Sevilla saw a victory that seemed almost secured slip away after playing more than half an hour with ten men.

Stassin, who had just come on, took advantage of a loose ball in the six-yard box to score his first goal for Sevilla. However, Espanyol threw everything forward in the closing minutes and got their reward when Marcos Fernández found the net after a ball struck the crossbar.
Espanyol also had a goal disallowed in the 61st minute, scored by Omar El Hilali and reviewed by VAR for a possible offside. Dmitrovic was crucial in goal for the home side, keeping his team in it while Sevilla played a man down.
The result leaves both sides feeling they dropped points rather than gained one. Sevilla add another difficult late spell at Cornellà, while Espanyol continue their league campaign with spirits lifted by their last-gasp response.
