The Cavaliers cannot get healthy or stay healthy this season.
The good vibes the Cavs have created lately with a four-game winning streak took a hit on Jan. 27 when they announced starting forward Evan Mobley suffered a left calf injury during a 114-98 win over the Orlando Magic on Jan. 26 at Rocket Arena. He compiled 20 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the field, nine rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots in 35 minutes.
Mobley is expected to miss approximately one to three weeks after an MRI revealed a calf strain, according to the Cavs' announcement. On Dec. 13, the Cavs announced Mobley suffered a Grade 1 strain in the same calf. He sat out the next five games.

What did Cavaliers coach Kenny Atkinson say about Evan Mobley's injury?
Cavs coach Kenny Atkinson commented on Mobley's most recent calf injury before Cleveland hosted Akron native LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Jan. 28.
"It's not a great situation in terms of he's one of our best players," Atkinson said of Mobley. "I mean, it just comes down to that. But amazingly, he healed really quick last time, so hoping it's the same. I mean, that's all you can do. I know today I talked to him. He said he's feeling better, a lot better. So I just hope [and I'm] praying that the timeline is sped up."
Cavs injury report vs. Lakers
In addition to Mobley, the following Cavs players are dealing with injuries: point guard Darius Garland (sprained right big toe), small forward Max Strus (offseason left foot surgery), shooting guard Sam Merrill (right hand sprain) and wing De'Andre Hunter (right knee soreness).
The Cavs ruled out Mobley, Garland and Strus against the Lakers. The Cavs listed Merrill and Hunter as probable to face the Lakers, but Cleveland later announced Merrill and Hunter are available to face LA.
