Life has certainly not been dull for Everton fans over the past week.
On the pitch, there has certainly been an uplift in mood among the Toffees fanbase after back-to-back wins over Newcastle United.
David Moyes' men followed up last Thursday's convincing 3-0 Carabao Cup win with a 1-0 triumph at St James' Park in the Premier League on Monday.
However, both of those games were dominated by the controversy created by Jack Grealish's omission for those matches due to a breach of club discipline.
The 31-year-old attacker continues to dominate much of the news agenda at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
But there are other things go on at Everton too, and Goodison Newshas rounded up the day's best news.
Everton target Gabriel Sara move
Everton have a move for Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara high on their wishlist according to Fussball News .
Sara has won two Turkish Super Lig titles with Gala since moving to Istanbul from Norwich City in August 2024.
The report suggests that Everton are ready to offer around £25-30million to land the 27-year-old.
Gala are said to be ready to enter talks at the higher range of that valuation, with the Turkish side's resolve seemingly about to be tested.
Everton given transfer encouragement as Galatasaray ready Gabriel Sara compromise Alan Brazil and Neil Warnock agree on what's next for Jack Grealish
There is no end in sight yet for the end of the Grealish controversy, and it remains to be seen if he will be involved against Coventry City on Friday.
The topic is still a huge talking point, and Alan Brazil and Neil Warnock were discussing what is needed next on talkSPORT on Wednesday.
Brazil said what should happen next, opining: "I think Jack just needs an arm around him now and again, someone to say, 'hey, come on, don't go off the rails, I need you'."
Warnock agreed, replying: "He does, but I think David is that type of manager, I think David will have had that chat with him.
"I think Jack needs David, more than David needs Jack at the minute. He should knuckle down now and not look for publicity like this."
Could Victor Anichebe open up Everton link with London club?
Former Everton striker Victor Anichebe is preparing to potentially get involved with a new venture.
Anichebe is the leading name in a consortium trying to buy League One outfit Bromley according to talkSPORT .
According to the report, the group are in final negotiations with current owner Robin Stanton-Gleaves as they look to purchase the Greater London team.
Could it be that Everton will soon have an easy avenue to getting their future stars a place to ply their trade on loan?
