Ex-Broncos roundup: Defensive lineman lands NFL job (and 2 OL were cut)
A former Denver Broncos defensive lineman is returning to the NFL — as a coach.
Domata Peko , who coached the defensive line for the Colorado Buffaloes in 2025, is now set to serve as the Pittsburgh Steelers ' defensive line coach in 2026. He previously worked as a defensive assistant for the Dallas Cowboys in 2024.
Peko, 41, played for the Broncos from 2017-2018, totaling 69 tackles and 1.5 sacks in 30 games. He spent time with four NFL teams during his 15-year career before hanging up his cleats with 616 tackles and 20 sacks on his resume.
Elsewhere on the coaching front, the New York Giants hired Brian Callahanas their quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator. Callahan, 41, got his coaching start in the NFL as an assistant in Denver in 2010. He spent six years with the club, winning Super Bowl 50 following the 2015 campaign.
On the ex-player front, guard Graham Glasgow was released by the Detroit Lions and offensive tackle Calvin Anderson was cut by the Steelers . Glasgow played for the Broncos from 2020-2022 and Anderson played in Denver from 2019-2022.
