Just over two weeks ago, a lucky NBA fan pulled an extremely rare one-of-one Cooper Flagg card. The trading card features a jersey patch from Flagg's NBA debut with the Dallas Mavericks and a signature from the former No. 1 overall pick himself. Friday morning, Fanatics Collect announced that the card will be available for auction at the Fanatics Collect September Premier Auction from September 10 to 24.
Not only will the auction include Flagg's rare rookie auto, but it will also include a never-before-seen autographed card of another former Blue Devil, Kon Knueppel. Just like Flagg's card, Knueppel's is signed and includes a patch from his rookie debut.

Both Flagg and Knueppel had historic rookie seasons during the 2025-26 campaign and were ultimately separated by 26 total points, as Flagg received 56 first-place votes to Knueppel's 44. For the Mavericks, Flagg made 70 appearances, averaging 21 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.9 blocks. As for Knueppel, he played in 81 of 82 regular season contests, averaging 18.5 points per game to go along with 5.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 0.7 steals while shooting an incredible 42.5% mark from 3-point range.

Good friends and former college roommates, the two each had one of their best games of the season when facing each other back in January. Flagg scored a game-high 49 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, dishing out three assists and recording one steal. Knueppel, on the other hand, led the Hornets to a narrow 123-121 victory, posting 34 points on 10-for-16 shooting, including 8-for-12 from beyond the arc. He also added four rebounds, three assists, one steal and zero turnovers.

In addition to the one-of-one cards signed by Flagg and Knueppel, the auction will also feature a trading card from another top pick from the 2025 NBA Draft, San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper. Like Flagg and Knueppel, Harper's card is one of a kind and includes a signature with a jersey patch from his rookie debut.
