Nearly two weeks ago, a lucky basketball fan packed a one-of-one Cooper Flagg trading card. The collectible features a signature from Flagg himself and a jersey patch from his NBA debut. Friday morning, Fanatics Collect announced that the card will be available for auction at the Fanatics Collect September Premier Auction from September 10 to 24. In addition to the one-of-one Flagg card, the auction will also include two never-before-seen rookie cards, one of Charlotte Hornets forward Kon Knueppel and another of San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper. Like Flagg's special card, both will feature signatures and jersey patches from each player's rookie debut.

Flagg took the NBA by storm in his rookie season with the Dallas Mavericks , averaging 21 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.9 blocks. During the year, Flagg became the first teenager in NBA history to record a 50-point game, scoring 51 against the Orlando Magic . Flagg also joined NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan in NBA history, becoming only the second rookie to lead his team in points, rebounds, assists and steals. As a result, the former No. 1 overall pick narrowly won the 2026 Rookie of the Year Award over the aforementioned Kon Knueppel, Flagg's former college teammate at Duke.

Just like Flagg, Knueppel put together a historic 2025-26 season, becoming the first-ever rookie to lead the NBA in 3-pointers made (273). Throughout the year, Knueppel averaged 18.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 0.7 steals while shooting 42.5% from beyond the arc. With these numbers, Knueppel became the third rookie in NBA history to average 15+ points and five or more rebounds while shooting over 40% from 3-point range, joining Boston Celtics legends Larry Bird and Paul Pierce.

As for Harper, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, he started off a bit slower, with limited playing time on a loaded Spurs roster. However, he still shined when on the floor, averaging 11.8 points, 3.9 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 22.6 minutes per game. After the postseason began, Harper reached another gear. Against the New York Knicks on the brightest stage in the 2025-26 NBA Finals, Harper averaged 18 points, 6.4 rebounds, three assists and 0.4 steals. Throughout the series, Harper became the youngest player to score 20 points in NBA Finals history.
With the 2026-27 season fast approaching, fans are eager to see the trio of Flagg, Harper and Knueppel back in action at the highest level. Considering their exceptional skills, jaw-dropping talent and bright futures, any NBA fan would be lucky to land the one-of-a-kind trading cards available during September's auction.
