- The final step left to overcome as West Ham agree deal for Divine Mukasa return
West Ham United are about to welcome Divine Mukasa back from Manchester City .

Mukasa made his way through the youth ranks at West Ham before joining Man City in 2023.
The 18-year-old has shown immense potential over the years and even played for Pep Guardiola in the Premier League.
Now, the London Stadium hierarchy are close to finalising a deal for the versatile attacker in the final weeks of the transfer window.
Divine Mukasa transfer details emerge at West Ham
George Earthy has joined Reading on a permanent transfer, and it looks like Mukasa is a replacement for him in Nuno Espirito Santo's squad.
The England youth international showed his qualities in the Championship last season after scoring two goals and providing three assists in 15 appearances.

According to Fabrizio Romano via X on 20 August, the Hammers are now close to signing Mukasa on loan from Man City.
The young playmaker is moving to London Stadium on a temporary transfer and the Irons don't have an option to buy him.
Mukasa will undergo his medical in the coming hours and, once he clears that, his return will be made official.

West Ham could have a serious midfield problem soon.
Edson Alvarez doesn't seem to have a future at London Stadium, while Soungoutou Magassa and Mohamadou Kante's futures also remain uncertain ahead of deadline day.

Tomas Soucek, James Ward-Prowse and Arne Engels could potentially be the only senior options left in the engine room soon.
Mukasa's arrival is undoubtedly much needed as the Hammers are in desperate need of creativity in the midfield.
But the young playmaker's arrival won't provide enough relief to Nuno if there are several other departures from the engine room soon.
