Five-star offensive lineman, in-state target commits to Texas A&M

The Texas A&M Aggies have landed their fourth five-star commit of the 2027 recruiting cycle, with offensive lineman Kennedy Brown committing on Sunday afternoon. They already have commitments from five-star safety Kamarui Dorsey, edge Zyron Forstall, and cornerback Raylaun Henry.

Brown is from Houston, Texas, and picked Texas A&M over the Florida Gators , LSU Tigers , and Tennessee Volunteers . He is their third offensive line commit, joining four-star offensive tackle prospects Kaeden Scott and DeMarrion Johnson.

Brown is ranked as the No. 15 overall player and No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the Rivals industry ranking. He is also the No. 3 player from Texas. His addition gives them a great shot to finish with the top-ranked recruiting class in the country.

The 6-foot-3.5, 315-pounder had been a target for Mike Elko's program since October of 2024, when they offered him a scholarship. He has visited College Station several times since then, allowing them to take control of his recruitment.

He is already Texas A&M's 13th commit, with 12 of them being ranked as four or five-star prospects by Rivals. The group is ranked as the best in the country, and their average player rating of 93.26 is the second-best in the country.
