- FLEX Finder Week 6: Let Brandin Cooks
Week 6 brings us four teams on bye for the first time, leaving us scrambling to find realistic options that can score points. And by that I mean: There are five games all week that have an over/under above 45, and one of those games is Colts/Titans. Yes, we're deep in the garbage now.
Rules for this weekly article:

1) I will not recommend quarterbacks —There are plenty of good ones. You're on your own there.
2) I will not recommend any running back who costs more than $5,000, wideout who costs more than $4,500, or tight end that costs more than $4,000 in DraftKings' DFS slate
— This was an easy cutoff for what a FLEX really is.
3) I consider any player who garners over 50 yards or scores a victory for the column —anything more you get out of that, well, great for you. Let's set expectations low because we are combing for outliers.

▶ Running Backs
Blake Corum, LAR — $4,800— Corum's usage has gone down quite a bit over the last three weeks, as he has been held under eight touches in each game after starting the season with games of 10 and 13. I think the combination of a short week and weak Cardinals opponent should get him back involved a little more heavily, and whenever we think Corum is going to be heavily involved we should pounce on him in this column.
Kendre Miller, NO — $4,600 —Miller has back-to-back games with eight and ten touches despite not really producing much. The Giants are not a strong run defense; they're 21st by DVOA and have allowed over 123 rushing yards in three of their last four games. Alvin Kamara(back) is ailing, as per usual. CJ Donaldsonseems threatening but has 37 pass blocks and 15 touches in five games. If the Saints wind up trying to salt the game away, Miller could be in line for a larger-than-usual workload.
Keaton Mitchell, LAC — $4,300 —This offensive line is now completely depleted, starting four rookies and Cole Strange. The wideout corps was a mess last game. The Chiefs allow 37 yards per game to running backs through the air, and Mitchell has touched the ball 35 times in his last three games. I have almost no hope in this Chargers offense at this point, but Mitchell's combination of touches and speed at least gives him a chance on any given play to score.

Brian Robinson, ATL — $4,700 —Home favorite, the Bears have a poor run defense DVOA, and Robinson continues to bank good volume even after last week's (merely) seven touches. The touchdown equity is there, as we've seen. Michael Penixlooks like he'll play. Perhaps Caleb Williamscomes back and the Bears just blitz the Falcons and force them into a pass-heavy game script, but I think Robinson has real paths to value again this week.

▶ Wide receivers
Keenan Allen, IND — $4,300— Look, do you think I like recommending this? This is wideout in 2026 with four teams on bye. Allen was on a snap count last game (he played just 32 snaps) in his return from a groin injury and still had nine targets. That's 18 in his last two weeks and 29 in four games. The Titans defense is Jeffery Simmonsand 10 players who have proven nothing.
Jaylin Noel, HOU — $3,200 —As I said last week when when recommending Noel ahead of his touchdown: This is the most talented secondary receiver the Texans have, the Texans are going to have to throw — the Jaguars have the best run defense in the NFL — and I'm going to ignore the up-and-down trends in playing time and just hope the Texans at 1-4 realize they need to simplify some things. Unless or until a healthy Tank Dellsuddenly appears on this roster, Noel is the second-best receiver they have. (If Dell is activated off IR for this game, though, pivot to him.)
Brandin Cooks, SF — $4,000 —With Deebo Samuelthe latest 49ers receiver to wind up with a debilitating injury, Cooks, who signed on September 22, is somehow the No. 2 receiver here. He caught a touchdown last game. The 49ers offense is absolutely humming, having put up major points on the Seahawks defense. The Commanders defense allowed a 14-point comeback to Jameis Winstonlast week. I think they're better than that, but I don't think they're ready to punch at this weight class yet.

Wan'Dale Robinson, TEN — $4,500 —Robinson has gone over 50 yards in two his last three games and has 23 targets over that span. Carnell Tatefigures to draw the attention of Sauce Gardner. Call it the least important hunch ever, but I think the Titans will bounce back after getting torn apart against the Texans and at least make a game of this.
Chris Godwin, TB — $4,400 —Among all wideouts, Godwin's average distance of target per FTN of 3.5 yards is second-lowest in the league. Now that the Steelers have moved Joey Porter Jr., I expect things to be zone-heavy. I think these two things can go hand-and-hand and create some PPR points.
▶ Tight ends
Dallas Goedert, PHI — $3,900 —The Panthers have allowed 9.6 passes per game to tight ends this season per FTN's data, third-most in the league. As I write this I'm unsure of the status of DeVonta Smith, but even if Smith plays, Goedert is probably the No. 2 target on this team. It seems like a pretty reasonable play in light of these facts.

Tyler Higbee, LAR — $3.400 —Higbee's last three games (one that Terrance Fergusonleft and two he missed) have provided 23 targets, 18 catches, 212 yards, and a touchdown. The Cardinals have generally done a reasonable job with tight ends, allowing 72.6 yards per game on 7.0 passes per game. But this game has a 52.5 over/under and the Rams are going to be the Rams. After Monday night's overtime bout, I like betting on the ancillary pieces on this team.
