The Florida Gators have a new on-field partnership with Ripple. It's a blockchain solutions service and will be "bringing XRP to Gator Nation." Beginning Saturday during the 2026 season opener against FAU , Ben Hill Griffin Stadium will feature the XRP logo. And according to Yahoo's Ross Dellenger, Florida is getting paid quite handsomely to do so.
"Florida's multi-year field logo deal with Ripple is expected to generate $5 million annually for the Gators, source tells @YahooSports ," Dellenger said via X. "It is believed to be among the most lucrative in college football."

Florida is far from the first school to put a logo on its field. However, the Gators appear to have done quite well for themselves, from a financial standpoint. Athletic director Scott Stricklin is excited for the partnership and what this could do for fans moving forward.
"Florida has a long history of embracing innovation and technology to enhance the experience of our fans and advance our programs," Stricklin said in a statement. "Ripple has established itself as an innovative leader in financial technology, and we're excited to welcome XRP to Gator Nation. This partnership brings together two organizations that think boldly about the future, and we look forward to introducing XRP to our fans."
Florida set for massive 2026 season under first-year head coach Jon Sumrall
Florida fans have been waiting for a new era inside the program for a while now. Well, that becomes a reality on Saturday when the Gators take the field. Jon Sumrall will be the one leading them out, as a massive 2026 season awaits in Gainesville.

Scheduling has been a topic of conversation in recent years. Few teams have had it as tough as Florida, even with the SEC only at eight conference games. But now, the number grows to nine, making Sumrall's task even harder. Florida keeps its in-state rivalry matchup against Florida State as well, meaning they will play 10 power conference opponents.
Action begins on Saturday, with kickoff against FAU scheduled for 7:45 p.m. ET. Campbell will be the Week 3 opponent, and everyone expects Florida to come out a 2-0 team. The action really begins the following Saturday when the Auburn Tigers and Alex Golesh come to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Potentially a massive swing game for the Gators, even if the calendar still reads September.
